Software Notification for Alcovisor Products: Alcovisor breathalyzers (Jupiter, Mercury, Mark V) manufactured prior to 2016 have a software limitation for the year selection in the time settings. The year selection stops at 2020. If your device does not update past the year 2020 there is a workaround to correct the time and date. Set the time to December 31st, 2020, 11:59PM, and the date will automatically roll over to the year 2021. From there you can go back into the time settings and update the month, day, and time correctly, without adjusting the year. The software update does not require immediate action, therefore in the future, when the device is sent to us for service (if needed), we will update the software to extend the time selection out to the year 2040. If you choose to send us the device solely for the software upgrade there will be no service charges issued. email thartman@ptd.net if this would be your option we can email you the shipping address.
